George Angelini is an award winning artist parked in Westchester County, NY. His interest in great cars came about this way:

"When I was 8 or 9 years old, I think, I happened to be walking down to the corner of the street I lived on. I would usually meet my friends there and we would loiter around the Amoco station after it closed in order to play tag, hide and seek or just engage in general mayhem. At any rate, parked about twenty feet from said corner was a car that I had never seen before.
Now, I had been as aware of automobiles as any budding young male of the time. My dad had a '58 Buick Century and the other dads had various family sedans of the period. But this car was special. It had only two seats, was a convertible and looked as though it was going 80 mph just parked there. I found out later that what I saw was a '53 Corvette. Polar White with red interior. By Chevrolet, no less! Chevrolet made my uncle's Impala. A nice car, but nothing like this! From that day on, I was crazy for sports cars. I drew them in my school notebook, on my bookbag, my forehead. . . kidding. I've been drawing and painting them ever since."

Mr. Angelini was the poster artist for CCCA Concours d'Elegance 1998, The Radnor Hunt Club Concours d'Elegance 1997 and 1998, The Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction 1999, The America on Wheels Museum of Transportation, and The Mack Truck Centennial Celebration in the year 2000.

In July of 2000, Mr. Angelini was the poster artist for The Burn Foundation Concours d'Elegance. He has also exhibited at Meadowbrook Hall and has won an Award for Excellence for his work.

Mr. Angelini has recently started painting aircraft and two of his works have been chosen by the Navy for inclusion in the National Museum of Naval Aviation show in Pensacola, Florida in 2006 and again in 2007.

All works are oil on canvas painted in the traditional manner using a monochromatic underpainting and then applying oil glazes.
